Did you know the colourful macarons we know of originated from the famous Parisien patisserie, Ladurée?
Original french macarons (ones outside of Paris) only consisted of the almond-meringue discs sans (without) filling! Thanks to the creative geniuses of Chef Pierre Desfontaines: a new world of macarons was born!
On the subject of macarons, we are happy to announce an addition of a brand new flavours to our macaron batch:
Roasted Coconut Macaron with White Chocolate-Mango filling!
Crunchy, woody flavours of the coconut sprinkled atop of the macaron shell. Inside lies a smooth white filling that holds a subtle flavouring of mango and white chocolate.
A word of advice: be prepared to share :) Especially to those who love white chocolate or mango.
